The 11th Mac 4x4 & March 2012

Team32 are Pete Restall & Mark Avogadri.
We are taking part in the Mac4x4 rasing money for Macmillan Cancer Support. Over the last 10 years the event has raised over £600,000 for Macmillan.
The details of the event can be found on the Mac4x4 Website. Details of Macmillan's good works can be found on the Macmillan Web Site

You can support Team32 and Macmillan by pledging some cash
Unlike some teams all your donation will go to the charity. We pay all the entry fees, fuel costs etc etc from our own pockets & claim NO expenses etc
Over the years that we've been taking part we have raised over £10,000. Please help us to raise another £1000 this time round.
If you are a business & would like to 'buy' some space on the vehicle for your promotional logos which will be seen by 200+ entrants & may well be seen in one or more of the Land Rover and Offroad magazines then get in touch.

2011 Saw us in a fully prepared 1997 300tdi Discovery. I had said in the past that i'd rather do it in a Jeep than a diesel Land Rover & I was prooved right as the engine let go over on the far side of Ireland. Luckily the AA Special Ops Tems managed to rebuild it but we ended up missing a day. It then tried to kill us again by catching fire in a forestry section, right next to the sign that warned against naked flames!.
Good News was that we still managed to pick up a section trophy so we decided to give it another go in 2012
About Us
We are both very active members of :

We spend most of our free time doing things 4x4 related.
In times of emergency we can be found with our 4x4 Response hats on, assisting with anything from delivering Meals On Wheels to transporting Nurses & Doctors thru the snow. Over the last year we've also assisted BLEVEC with Bomb Alerts & Fires, providing Transport Logistics wherever we can be of assistance.
Between us we own far too many 4x4s, at last count we had 8 (but I may have forgotten some!) - everything from a 1948 Land Rover Series 1 to a 2004 Land Rover Discovery 2. Our 4x4's are not of the Chelsea Tractor variety - They all have a specific use & we both have "normal" cars for running round day to day. Not that we are Eco-Nuts, but fuel is expensive!
