1		Yamaha FS1E DX R Yellow 1980-1981 The very 1st vehicle I ever owned. It was the last of the unrestricted mopeds, claimed to be good for 50-60 MPH. I used to run it on 5 star syphoned from my dads Jag, so the engine was a little tight. Note: The disc brake on the front & the flip down pedals. This was the height of moped stlye in 1980.
2		Ford Escort II ABH 482S Blue 1981 Bought this one to learn to drive in. Raced all round the lanes of hertfordshire & ended up on it's roof in Brookmans Park 2 days before my test
3		Vauxhall Viva DTW 625T White/Blue 1981-1983 The 1st one that I was legal in. This was the GLS model, with the 1256 engine, but it had the trim from the Magnum, including a 7 dial dash, chrome Rostyles, quad headlamps, vynal roof & a lovely blue draylon interior. Went everywhere in this, & loved it dearly. Sadly it had an early death when Ralph parked his Capri in the back of it at some silly speed.
4		Ford Zodiac IV TVX 733E Bronze This was a bit special. It was a very rare estate that had the roof chopped into a pickup. It had Wolfrace wheels, a full fur lined interior & Metalflake paint. Sadly the engine was dead & I knew nothing about mechanics, so it got swapped for a Mk1 Escort
5		Ford Cortina V PLK 679W 1983-1984 I wanted a Capri, but somehow ended up with this. Although it was only a year or 2 old, it never inspired. Maybe it was the colour?
6		Vauxhall Victor FE SJH 8M Yellow The 1st one I ever did up myself. Bought from a really dodgy trader by the side of the road in White Heart Lane for £50. Stuck an exhaust on, resprayed it in the brightest yellow I could find. It had sharke teeth painted on the front, a confederate flag on the bonnet & a set of Dixie airhorns. Was this when 'the dukes of hazzard' was in it's hayday? Swapped this for another Mk1 escort. Was told that it was wrapped round a lamppost in Wood Green a week later.
7		Ford Escort III ALU 897Y Red 1984 Back to something sensible again. I wanted a XR3, so I got a 1300L.... A mate worked at Ford's PDI center, so it had all the XR3 interior, lights etc, but it was always a 1300....
8		Ford Consul 335 (Capri) CMC 100A Silly-sensible-silly.... I'm spotting a pattern here. Was this just after I'd 1st seen 'Christine'?? Bought in 1000 peices as an unfinished project, I bolted it all together, fitted a 1600gt engine , 2000e box & alloy wheels. Suspension was lowered at the front & jacked at the back (as the 2000e propshaft wouldnt fit in the transmission tunnel) Finished in the brightest red I could find at the time. Only thing that needed doing was the interior which was still the std pale green. Cant remember why I sold this, but I think it was when I was trying to pool funds to buy the Manta

It was used in a Sun TV advert for a Samantha Fox promotion. They had it for 2 days & paid me twice what I paid for it. I got to keep the posters as well!!

17		Vauxhall Cavalier 2000GLS Coupe FKX 111T 1984-1985 Lowered suspension, chome wheels, underbody lighting, Disco lights, in 1984!!! I was obviously well ahead of my time.

46		Bmw 730i F353 PNK A cheapy from a mate in the trade. It was cheap as it was showing 150,000 miles with no history. Ran it for 18 months & 10,000 miles. No problems at all, 1 oil change, then sold it for a profit. About time as I was starting to think that I was jinxed!

48		Daimler 4.2 Coupe Always wanted one since i 1st saw them. Had a few quid & saw this for sale, so had to go for it. It was a very late coupe, with some series 3 bits. It had loads of history & recipts, so it must be a good one..? Wrong. Took it for an MOT & the tester used 2 sticks of chalk on the bad bits. Laid it up for a while, then started it up & the engine blew up. Sold for spares..........

73		Toyota Landcruiser Colorado 3.0 TD VX Bored with spending all my time fixing unreliable rust buckets. In Australia, they say " If you want to visit the Outback, get a Land Rover. If you want to come back again, get a Land Cruiser" 2009 Mac4x4 entrant. By far the most comfortable & reliable thing you could ever want to do a long distance event in. Sold it to a mate who still has it & it still hasnt missed a beat.

74		1962 Series 2a Last saw tarmac in 1995 Chassis is living proof that waxoyl doesnt work. Plan is to get a new chassis, swap over the good bits & build a nice tidy classic. No stickers, no big tyres etc. Would like a full canvas, so anyone wanting to sawp a canvas & sticks for the existing hard top, please get in touch. Also fancy some parabolics, some more period tyres, & no doubt a lot more. In a years time this will either be finished, or for sale as an abandoned project. - UPDATE: Sold as an abandoned project as expected.
75		1985 BMW e30 320i Perfect, as you'd expect from a 20+ year old BMW, great fun & a return to my early driving days when this would have been the absolute dogs. Most of us were in Escorts & Vivas. Those that had a few quid & little taste had XR3Is & GTIs. If you had real money & a bit of class , you had one of these

77		1992 Range Rover 3.9 Ex police & another assorted dozen or so owners. 200k miles & runs like a dream. I bought it a few years back, sold it to a mate then bought it back again as I needed something to pull my caravan. 6 months later I've just retired it from every day use. Edit: Now sold back to the same person I sold it to last time---- 2010 Mac4x4 entrant. Trouble was it sounded so good we spent all out time listening to the exhaust & not enough time looking for clues!
78		1993 Audi 80 2.0 16v. Mot failure cheapie as I needed something reliable after the Toyota. Great car, very quick & no problems whatsoever. Very impressed with Audi

80		Land Rover 100" Hybrid 1981 Range Rover chassis, series ? 109 cutdown rear tub, late defender bulkhead, early 90 front end, 3.5l Nissan FD35 Turbo diesel period 80's engine conversion . Taxed & MOT'd but requires a little 'fettling' & maybe some bright paint. Not much reason to have Infra Red Resistant matt green in Hertfordshire....

90		The current toy. 1999 D2 4.0(maybe) V8 Ex Police. With an unidentified engine, No one seems to know what engine code 87d is ???? Came to me as a non runner with suspected BCU problem. Turned out to be dirty plugs! Sometimes people forget to check the basics. Much fun to drive Mac4x4 2013 maybe????
